So guess what I did today!? YUP! went op shopping! huzzah! so stoked cuz i havent been in about 4 weeks since i was made redundant from my job in December. So today, i signed up to a swap on swap bot where i needed to buy 2 rabbit items from a thrift store, so off i went with intentions of JUST buying those 2 items..... well, i found them.... and i may have had some fun letting off some built up thrifting rage/ energy, watever you want to call it, but i used to go thrifting weekly so i had ALOT of fun today and i only spent 44.50!
Check it out!
'Supre" Cream colour jersey tunic with dark brown button detail $3
"Girl Express" green floral tank top $2 Loving this print
"Crossroads" Grey jersey tunic with bead, sequin and rhinestone detail $3 Ive just tied a ribbon around the waist as an example of how i might wear it.
"Sussan" pink cotton shirt with pin-tuck detail 75cents
"Funktion" Grey basic jersey shirt [photo makes it look lighter than it really is] 75cents

Valleygirl 3/4 sleeve pink jersey top with cute button detail on the sleeve 75 cents!
ValleyGirl tweed/plaid shorts with black skinny belt 50% off = $2
TEMT pinstripe black knee length strapless dress $5
"RACHAEL & CHLOE" Black and Silver Sequin Dress - satin sash neck detail ties around back of neck [see 2nd picture] I actually went back to the store and bought this - it was only $5 after the 50% off sale today. Its not something i would usually wear, slightly reminds me of a prostitute but i figured i could make it work. PLUS my name was on the tag and its freakin zebra! after i tried it on, it was soooo short - i mean, im only 5'2" and the split up the back didnt even kinda hide my bum so i dont know how anyone of normal height could have ever worn this as a dress..... anyway,,im planning on making it into a top instead [example picture shown].
Stuffing and Grey jersey knit fabric $2 each
2 x lacey tops just to cut up for sewing projects 50 cents each
OMG!! im a total cat lady people! this is a puzzle!! cant wait to put it together and frame it. = $5
Vintage? Musical Jewellery box - this is not painted wood, its like paper or something, so cute = $2
Vintage? Musical box - u twist the base this sits on to make it sing, it also turns as its unwinding/singing. this is also made of paper. love it! = $2
This cute necklace with filigree leaves, 3D heart and pink tear drop crystal and drop chains =$3
And last but not least...
"Alive Girl" light grey boat neck Sweater dress = $3! ive tied this with a ribbon as an example how i would wear it to give it shape,The print reminds me of fashion sketches. i just love these women on the front. Id like to think theyre french, cuz they look fancy like that : P
As you can see, if you look hard you can find some awesome stuff at thrift stores at a great price. not one of these items is damaged in anyway, not pilling or any holes. So if you havent yet - go searching, dig through the bins, youll be amazed and no one ever has to know that you bought it from a thrift shop, unless youre like me who likes to brag that i didnt pay full price and bought all these items for the price of 1 brand new item
: D
okay, thats all, thanks for lookin... bye!
p.s Hi MADAM Steph! miss you xox
